A spectacular new clubhouse will provide the final flourish to GreyHawk Golf Club, the premiere 36-hole Member golf facility in the National Capital Region.
Construction on the new clubhouse, projected to cost more than $5 million, began in April, with the building scheduled for completion by the end of the year. The 17,100-square-foot structure will be complemented by a 1,750-square-foot covered patio with a fireplace off the bistro.
Directly off the bistro area adjoining the three-sided bar, the Black Pint Pub will exude the atmosphere of an Irish pub with its low, textured ceiling divided by wood beams and dark hardwood floor. Flat-screen TVs will be available to watch sporting events and traditional pub fare will be served.
As of early November, the exterior of the clubhouse had been completed with exception of decorative lighting, and final touches were being made to the landscaping. Inside, all painting had been done, as had most of the tile installation. The main and banquet bars have been installed as well the decorative beams in the bistro and banquet rooms. Locker installation was well underway.
Once complete, this beautiful building will provide the hub for Members and guests to complete the GreyHawk experience.
